• NJ A5165/S4390 — End Data Center Tax Credits Act — enacted August 27, 2026; ends $250 million in state tax-credit incentives earmarked for large artificial-intelligence data centers.
• NJ S3379/A4096 — Data-center energy and water reporting — enacted August 27, 2026; requires data-center owners and operators to submit semiannual reports to the Board of Public Utilities covering energy consumption, cooling and information-technology energy use, peak daily water use and water sources, and onsite and backup power supplies.
• NJ A3497, Forbidding the Algorithmic Inflation of Rent (FAIR) Act — enacted July 20, 2026 as P.L. 2026, c. 43; prohibits rental-property owners from paying for algorithmic rent-setting coordination services and prohibits coordinators from facilitating express or tacit agreements among rental-property owners.
