[edit]Potts Law Firm said it filed the third civil action against xAI, the company behind Grok, for another family whose minor child was allegedly depicted in AI-generated child sexual abuse material.[1][2]
According to the firm's account of the complaint, authentic photographs of the six-year-old child were allegedly used to create explicit images, and the lawsuit alleges that xAI's platform generated or facilitated their creation.[1][2] The allegations have not been adjudicated.[1]
The announcement follows two earlier Arkansas civil actions reported in the July 23 and July 30 digests.[3][4]
