Canada–Germany LawZero funding announcement
On September 16, 2026, Canada announced planned support of CAD 150 million for LawZero’s Scientist AI research, alongside EUR 100 million from Germany. The German funding is subject to European Commission notification. The initiative links AI-safety research with technological sovereignty.[1]
