Digital Music News reported that Poseidon Wave Media, litigating on behalf of The American Dollar, voluntarily dismissed its copyright action against Suno with prejudice, preventing refiling of that action.<ref name="dmn" /> Jamendo voluntarily dismissed its separate Suno action without prejudice.<ref name="dmn" />

The dismissal notices did not state a reason, and Digital Music News reported that The American Dollar, Jamendo, Winamp, and Suno had not responded to requests for comment before publication.<ref name="dmn" />

== Fourth lawsuit alleges Grok generated abusive images of a minor ==
Potts Law Firm announced that it filed a fourth civil lawsuit against xAI on behalf of a 16-year-old identified as John Doe, alleging that photographs of him were transformed by Grok into child sexual abuse material.<ref name="potts" /> The action, ''John Doe, by and through his Legal Guardian Parent, Jane Roe 4 v. x.AI Corp., x.AI, LLC, and X Corp.'', No. 5:26-cv-5204, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas and seeks damages and other relief.<ref name="potts" />

The California Public Utilities Commission approved Waymo to charge for fully driverless rides across 18 counties, expanding its authorized territory in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles and permitting service in Sacramento and San Diego.<ref name="electrek" /><ref name="engadget" /> The authorization followed Waymo’s January 28 Advice Letter No. 4 and a later supplemental filing addressing matters including unaccompanied minors and rider procedures during service disruptions.<ref name="electrek" />

Waymo said deployment would be gradual and guided by its safety framework rather than beginning simultaneously across the entire authorized area.<ref name="engadget" />
